Jill Evans

Founding Teacher Leader and Primary Guide

“As a Teacher, I passionately believe that Children should be free to learn and reach their highest potential at a young age. I believe that the Montessori Method Provides the best pathway to meet Children’s needs”

Jill Evans is a native daughter, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.

After attaining a degree in business administration, she began her career as an administrator for the City of Cleveland where she served for 12 years. However, the desire to teach young children had been with her since childhood, and – upon leaving the City hall – she started her teaching career as a long term substitute teacher, giving her time to dedicate to raising her family before pursuing her teaching degree. She received a master’s of education degree specializing in early childhood education and proudly graduated with a 4.0. In August of the same year, she was hired full-time at a Montessori school. Now Jill combines her business and Montessori teaching skills to continue her more than 20-year teaching journey by founding Goldenrod Montessori.
